Betatesters needed
We're looking for people which test old DOS programs on 9110, to discover which ones can be run on it.
We also need people able to write programs with low-level access to registers (i.e. assembly programmers), as they could be able to discover how to access advanced features of DOS9k (i.e. access to phone side, enable graphic to use DOS graphic programs).
Needed features:
Access to COM: port
You can use COMM.EXE and TRANSFER.EXE files from
e4rev2d1.zip and
e4rev2d2.zip
packages for command line (see documentation),
or "Turbo PASCAL Async Manager" library
(TPASYNC.ZIP) for Pascal programming.
Handling of video board
You need to directly access the video RAM to draw on 9110 screen; you cannot
use existing programs, but you can write your own, referring to
this one
I wrote to implement simple PSET, LINE and BOX instructions. It's quite slow,
but maybe you can port it into ASSEMBLY and send it to me... :)
Writing a TSR program which intercepts BIOS calls of existing graphical programs
to make them compatible with 9110, would be the best solution: are you able
to write it?
Access to phone part <<---- PLEAS HELP!! THIS IS ESSENTIAL!!!
