USAGE: You have to manually reduce the zoom level of the page using your mouse wheel and CTRL key, to get all controls properly displayed on the screen. You should see two videos above; if you don't, hit F5 to refresh page, until you see both of them. Then you have to manually start the above videos; then stop the first one after some seconds, and allow it to fill the whole video buffer. Then, just wait: the countdowns are in real time w.r.t real scheduled date for vaiorus events. The buttons on the right are only provided to manually "fix" the timing if you can receive live confirmation of each event from NASA (look at the second video). Instruments on the left show real data recorded by Phoenix during its EDL in 2008. NOTE: you could see in this simulator that everything is going fine, even if actually everything is going bad... so just use it to figure out how things COULD go if everything is ok. |
